Occupational Therapy
Helping children participate more confidently in everyday life.
Paediatric OT supports the practical skills a child needs to play, learn, regulate, care for themselves and take part in family or school routines.

OT may help when a child…
- Finds sounds, textures or movement difficult to manage
- Needs support with fine motor, handwriting or coordination
- Struggles with dressing, feeding or other self-care routines
- Finds it hard to regulate, attend or join play
What we look at first
- Developmental strengths and current concerns
- Sensory and motor skills
- Participation at home, school and in play
- Goals that matter to the child and family

How sessions work
We begin with an assessment, then plan individual, play-based sessions around clear goals. The activities are engaging, but every activity has a therapeutic purpose.
Parents stay involved
The therapist explains progress in clear language and may share practical strategies for home. Recommendations are personalised rather than one-size-fits-all.
