A child-centred assessment helps the Kidsaurus team understand your concerns, observe relevant skills and discuss suitable next steps without making a medical diagnosis.
Who is it for?
For children up to 12 years old. A diagnosis or doctor’s referral is not needed to book.
What happens
- About 1 hour with an Occupational Therapist or Speech Therapist
- Parents complete an intake form and a short interview about the child’s development and concerns
- The therapist uses warm-up activities, observation and structured play-based tasks
- Parents receive same-day feedback that begins with the child’s strengths
- An optional detailed report can be prepared within 10 working days; fees are explained before you proceed
What to bring
Bring any doctor’s, hospital or school reports you have, plus a favourite snack or toy to help your child feel comfortable.
