Early Intervention Programme
A coordinated programme for learning, participation and progress.
EIP is a structured weekday programme for children who benefit from consistent support across communication, behaviour, motor, sensory, social and daily living skills.
Who is this for?
For children aged 1–7 years. A diagnosis is not needed to join. The programme is organised by level: Early Developmental Program (1–3), Intensive Development Program (3–5) and School Readiness Program (5–7).
A warm, structured day
Children learn Monday to Friday through play, themed activities and everyday routines, with a 1:4 teacher-to-student ratio.
Programme options
- Full Day · 8:00 am–5:00 pm
- Morning Half Day · 8:00 am–12:00 pm
- Afternoon Half Day · 1:00 pm–5:00 pm
- Optional OT or Speech Therapy components may be recommended
- Placement is confirmed after intake and review
Basic, Standard and Intensive
Three programme tiers are available. Standard and Intensive include individual OT sessions. Intensive also includes Speech Therapy, monthly home guidance and priority therapy scheduling. Contact admin for programme details.

Progress and parent communication
Parents receive updates through the Oodlins parent app, Parent-Teacher Meetings four times a year, usually in March, June, September and December, and a written progress report after the first 3 months.

Daily care and attendance
Parents provide meals and snacks. Unwell children are not admitted for the day, and staff do not give medicine. Withdrawal requires 30 days’ written notice.

Frequently asked questions
Does my child need a diagnosis to join EIP?
No. A diagnosis is not needed to join. The team reviews the child’s needs and programme suitability during the joining process.
What schedules are available?
EIP runs Monday to Friday. Full Day is 8:00 am–5:00 pm, Morning is 8:00 am–12:00 pm and Afternoon is 1:00 pm–5:00 pm.
Can parents stay in the classroom?
Parents do not stay in the classroom during sessions so children can remain focused. Centre visits are welcome by appointment and take about 30 minutes; parents may bring their child.
What do the programme tiers include?
