Our Founder’s Story
It started with a mother’s instinct.
Puan Maryam Jamadi is the Founder and Clinical Director of Kidsaurus Therapy and a paediatric Occupational Therapist.
A mother looking for a better way
In 2016, after the birth of her first child, Maryam faced the challenge of raising a high-needs baby. She left her job to protect her child’s development and began writing about parenting and therapy at home. Her writing went viral and was published by Pa&Ma, Mingguan Wanita and SirapLimau.
From one room to two centres
Other parents started asking for help. In early 2017, she opened BEYOND Home Therapy in a small room at home. At a time when many families waited three to six months for therapy at government hospitals, every month mattered. One child became two, then dozens—the trust of that parent community built Kidsaurus Therapy.
