Frequently asked questions
What age do you accept?
We see children up to 12 years old. The earlier intervention starts, the greater the impact, so do not wait if you already have concerns.
How much are your fees?

How do I get started?

Do I need a doctor’s referral?
It depends on the service. No referral is needed for developmental screening. If you have a doctor’s or hospital report, please bring it along.
My child is not talking yet. Should I be worried?
If your child is not combining two words by age 2, a screening is worthwhile. Assessment helps you understand your child before deciding what to do next.
Do you diagnose autism or ADHD?
Our assessment looks at developmental level and daily needs. A formal diagnosis is made by a doctor or medical specialist; we can suggest a referral if needed.
What is the difference between OT and Speech Therapy?
OT builds everyday skills such as sensory processing, motor skills, self-care and play. Speech Therapy builds language, speech and communication. Many children benefit from both.
What is EIP and who is it for?
EIP is a structured Monday-to-Friday programme in small classes for children who need daily developmental support, including children with developmental delays, autism or ADHD.
How often will my child need to come?
It depends on your child’s needs and is decided after assessment. Your therapist will explain the recommended frequency and duration clearly.
How will I know my child is progressing?
You receive progress reports and regular discussions with the therapist or teacher. EIP students have four parent-teacher meetings each year.
Can parents join the sessions?
It depends on your child’s needs and the type of session. Your therapist will advise you and share what was done and how to continue at home.
